KUTGS were invited to attend the Mahatma Gandhi Statue Unveiling Ceremony at the Parliament Square. Staff, Governors, parents and children from the School attended this auspicious event, and were privileged to be in the front row. The unveiling marked the importance of Mahatma Gandhi, who was born in Gujarat, to the histories of both the UK and India. The Ceremony was performed by the Prime Minister David Cameron, India’s Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley, Secretary of State for Culture Sajid Javid and everyone’s favourite actor Amitabh Bachchan.
